Investigation on Strategies for Exergoeconomic Analysis and Evaluation of Energy Systems

The approach to costing and evaluation for energy destruction is explored on the basis of exergy balance and cost balance equations, and a new exergoeconomic factor revealing the main sources of cost is proposed, combining the relevant evaluation indices for exergoeconomics, which can effectively evaluate the energyusing status and can point out the direction of energyusing improvement. An exergoeconomic evaluation index for energy systems based on the analysis of energy level is also proposed, which can evaluate the economic performances of energy systems from energylevel matching. The exergoeconomic analysis and improvement of a typical heat and power cogeneration system called CGAM are performed to demonstrate the availability of the proposed evaluation strategies.
