Thepoweramplifier described hereusesa 50-Vgemini MOSFET andoperates inclass Etoproduce up to200W from1.8to128MHz. Thecircuit incorporates a broadband inputsothatfrequency changes require only retuning orswitching oftheoutput filter. Theefficiency varies from90percent at1.8MHz to70percent at128MHz. Theamplitude-modulation linearity isexcellent, makingit wellsuited foruseinaKahn-technique (EER)transmitter. IndexTerms - Poweramplifier, class E,MOSFET,HF, VHF.
