Celera and Science Spell Out Data Access Provisions

This week, Science is publishing Celera's report on the human genome sequence, and Celera is publishing the underlying genomic sequence data on its own Web site ([www.celera.com][1]). Celera's release on its own Web site, rather than in the public database, GenBank, has been a major source of controversy. Here the terms for academic and commercial users are explained.
