Preamble transmission method and apparatus

The invention provides a preamble transmission method and apparatus. The method comprises: UE executing LBT on a first time-frequency resource of an unauthorized carrier until the right to use of the unauthorized carrier is obtained, wherein the LBT comprises LBT executed for transmitting a preamble; enabling the UE to transmit the preamble on a second time-frequency resource after the first time-frequency resource after the right to use of the unauthorized carrier is obtained, wherein the second time-frequency resource is a PRACH time-frequency resource preconfigured at a fixed location or determined based on the LBT execution location. The method and apparatus solve the problem that uplink data transmission on the unauthorized carrier in the prior art causes interference in the cell, and improve the quality of the uplink data transmission.
