CAN Bus-Based Communication in the Modular Machine Tools

The characteristics of the embedded CAN (controller area network) controller of TMS320C2000 is analysed in this paper. The design and realization of the system of the Communications of the the modular machine tools'controller on CAN bus is presented.The hardware design of interface between PC and controller area network, and the design of application layer protocol are also presented.
