A Preliminary Study of the Phenomenon of Gear Mark

In the production of gear shaping machine,the phenomenon of gear mark is a problem that cannot be neglected. This paper introduces the main characteristics of the phenomenon of gear mark, then analyzes and discusses the causes that lead to such phenomenon, finally points out the measures to solve the problem. The conclusions indicate that if the main causes of the phenomenon of gear mark are found,then corresponding measures can be taken to limit the error.
