Minimised Wake: A Collaborative Research Programme on Aircraft Wake Vortice

The aim of this paper is to present the Collaborative Research Programme on aircraft wake vortices between ONERA an d DLR which was launched in 1999. Results of experimental investigations carried out within this framework are provided, with special emphasis set upon very large transport aircraft-type applications.
