Adaptive Fuzzy Control of Nonlinear Systems Based on Terminal Sliding Mode

A global fast terminal sliding mode (FTSM) controller with fast terminal fuzzy approximator is proposed for the nonlinear systems. The finite time convergence property of FTSM is applied not only in the reaching phase and the sliding phase, but also in the fuzzy approximator. The convergence process is accelerated with a faster finite time and the steady errors are reduced greatly. Simulation studies show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
