Morphology observation Of siloxane dendrimer(G1P-6Cl) LB film containing dendric core

In this study, we use hybrid between dendritic core and phenyl group containing Hydrolysis of Tris(2-dichloromethylsilyl-2-phenyl-1-ethenyl)methylsilane(G1P-6Cl). It will prove nanosized, well defined, and highly branched macromolecules. Siloxan part have insulating property. But phenyl group have conductivity. We use the Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) method to deposit G1P-6Cl. Because LB technique provides many possibilities for the control of film thickness, dimensions, and molecular structures on nanometer scale. We examined the monolayer behavior by n-A isotherm at the air-water interface. The n-A curves indicated surface pressure of this LB film from liquid to solid state between 6 and 8 mN/m. The monolayer was deposited onto highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) substrates by Y-type deposition at surface pressure 7.5 mN/m. We measured morphology of siloxane dendrimer(G1P-6Cl) LB films using SPM.
