A protocol suite for wireless sensor and actor networks

Wireless sensor and actor networks (WSAN) refer to a group of sensors and actors, which gather information about the physical world and perform appropriate actions upon the environment, respectively. The requirements of communication protocols occurring due to the presence of actors and the protocol suite of WSAN are outlined.
