Energetic Macroscopic Representation and inversion-based control of the traction system of a hybrid locomotive

The EMR (Energetic Macroscopic Representation) of the traction system of a hybrid locomotive is presented. Different models are studied in order to be use for energy management of the entire system including energy storage subsystems. The simulation model is validated by comparison with experimental results.
