Improved Satellite Channel TCP Based on Adaptive Loss Differentiation

The extension of TCP/IP networks via satellite has a number of important significance.But the high bit errors,high latency and severe channel decline of satellite link make a poor TCP/IP performance compared to wired link.Therefore TCP/IP must be improved as it is used in satellite link.This paper proposes the concept of adaptive biased queue management.The basic idea is to adjust the parameters for pattern matching according to network dynamic events,so that the scheme can keep accuracy even in the case of congestion loss and increasing satellite link bit errors.
