Extension of Bronchogenic Carcinoma Through Pulmonary Vein into the Left Atrium Detected by Echocardiography

This is the case of a 46‐year‐old female recently diagnosed with a squamous cell bronchogenic carcinoma that spread through the pulmonary veins into the left atrium. This mass was initially seen on surface echocardiography as emanating from the pulmonary vein and subsequently confirmed to be arising from the right superior pulmonary vein by transesophageal echocardiography.
