ON THE MAXIMAL RANK CONJECTURE IN P 4

Here (following old joint work with Ph. Ellia and using an induc- tive method due to A. Hirschowitz) we prove that a general embedding in P 4 of a curve with general moduli has maximal rank, i.e. it has good postulation.
