Statram: A Modern Traffic Assignment and Assessment Model

Abstract A computer analysis systems of traffic assignment and assessment for traffic network is developed. Four traffic assignment methods (shortest path assignment, capacity restraint assignment, multiple—path assignment and multipath-capacity restraint assignment) are used. The systems can analyze journey speeds and journey times on links, queues and delays at junctions subject to time—varying demand and capacity, predict link volumes, junction volumes, and estimate turning movements at all junctions. It is suited for the analysis and evaluation of traffic management schemes and traffic planning over large—sized traffic network.
