Research on Bounding Box Collision Detection in Virtual Reality Based on OSG

Collision detection is the core technique of virtual reality,the effect of it impacts on realism of virtual scene directly.Based on OSG three-dimensional scene rendering engine and Multigen Creator three-dimensional modeling software,achieved collision detection of a number of static and dynamic objects by using the bounding box collision detection.Ray detection algorithm was proposed to realize collision detection of many static objects and ground as well as dynamic objects and ground.In order to meet the requirements of real-time,the optimization model was put forward for a number of static and dynamic objects in the collision detection algorithm.The result shows the algorithm can meet requirements with validity and rapidity.
