Simulation and Optimization Design for Double-E Type Permanent Magnet Contactor Based on Genetic Algorithm

Based on the analysis of permanent magnet(PM)actuator model and the related theories,the design methods of PM actuator were given.The initial design parameters of PM actuator were obtained by magnetic circuit method and PM actuator optimization model was established.The optimization model was solved by using the genetic algorithm and combining the electromagnetic finite element calculation method to obtain reasonable design parameters.A 250 A PM contactor with double-E type PM actuator was developed.The experimental result shows that the algorithm can realize the optimal design for PM contactor and greatly improve the efficiency of product design,validate the effectiveness and correctness of the design model and algorithm.
