An Accelerated Load Sequence Design Method Based on Merged Markov Matrix

The accelerated life test (ALT) is commonly used to reduce the time and cost of the life tests. Considering the influences of both transition frequency and load amplitude on hydraulic piston pumps, a novel method using merged Markov information matrix, is proposed in this paper to generate the load sequence applied in the ALT. This method has several advantages, including centralizing information within the Markov matrix and compressing the duration of long-term loads whose contribution to total damage is pretty low in conventional conditions. Besides, based on failure mechanism, the effects of critical factors in the ALT are emphasized in this paper to make the experiments more effective and reasonable. Through analysis on actual load sequence, a design method of acceleration load sequence for the hydraulic pump, by using equivalent transformation, is proposed in this paper. This method is of great significance to ALT of the hydraulic pump and improve the reliability of the aircraft.
