KEEP SLS: An Enhanced ePortfolio System Supporting Constructive Social Learning Activities

This paper provided a new approach of bridging Web 2.0 technologies and traditional ePortfolio systems to enhance educational benefits to individual users as well as learning community. Reasons for promoting constructive social learning in education were analyzed. Related design problems in current elearning systems were discussed. The design and development processes for a social learning enhanced ePortfolio system, i.e., KEEP Social Learning Suite (SLS), were illustrated.
