In the digitalization era, information has great importance and value. But the dark side of digitization is attacks and hacking of data. Also handwritten Signature is replaced by digital signature but this has lead to increase in electronic frauds and thus cyber security is the challenge in the digital era. Hence, in Computer Science & Engineering curriculum, Information & Cyber Security (I&CS) course is added with an objective to learn security policies such as authentication, integrity, and confidentiality as well different cryptography algorithms. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, a game is an activity engaged for detour of enjoyment. In general, gamification is an activity which engages students as well as it helps to reach the learning objective. In this paper, we present the integration 'Gamification' instructional strategy along with traditional teaching modes for the course I&CS to increase the engagement of students teaching. The experiment was conducted for the final year of Computer Science and Engineering students for the course of Information and Cyber Security. The results show that problem-solving among students increased significantly. The survey and results of students are considered to find out the effectiveness of the experiment
