In-Vivo Measurements; Pitfalls and Problems of Instrumentation

This chapter is not designed to provide detailed information about how to make physiological measurements. In some cases references are provided which will supply that kind of information. The purpose of this chapter is to point out some of the problems and pitfalls involved in physiological measurements. Judging by how many of these problems are apparently ignored it seems that many investigators are unaware of them.
