Fact Sheet Fusion:a Tool to Build Biodiversity Information Database Automatically

With conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity attracting global attention,biodiversity information systems are becoming platforms characterized by multimedia,hyperlink and worldwide sharing based on the modern information technology.To conform to this trend,Fact Sheet Fusion(FSF),a tool of building up biodiversity information database automatically has been developed for biologists and biodiversity researchers.FSF enables them to create web-based biological information system rapidly with no need of editing databases and web pages.The resulting system is standardized in layout,uniform in style and simple in maintenance.Besides the introduction to the framework and features,an example of insects(Hymenoptera:Braconidae:Homolobus)was given briefly for the creation of biodiversity information system using FSF.
