Design of Elevated Antenna System of a Mobile Radar

Several typical elevated antenna systems of mobile radars are introduced and their characteristics are compared and analyzed in this paper.A folding multi-link hydraulic elevating equipment is designed which is based on the planar mechanism principle and can elevate the antenna system up to 18meters.All e quipments of the radar can be highly integrated into a military off-road vehicle.The operation principle and design process of this elevated mechanism are described and the loading conditions of this elevated mechanism are analyzed.Then key parameters of the hydraulic system are designed and calculated.Finally,the mechanical structure of the elevated mechanism is simulated.The stress and strain of this folded structure meets the design specifications.
