Control of Ship Electric Propulsion Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motor Based on Position-Sensorless and Neuro-Fuzzy Network

The position-sensorless observer and the neuro-fuzzy PI controller are designed,which are used to control the electric propulsion interior permanent-magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM).The position-sensorless of the flux-observer-based control scheme can obtain an accurate knowledge of the motor magnetic behavior,and leads to good robustness against load variations.The PI controller is designed for control of the IPMSM,and a fuzzy neuro-network is utilized for online tuning of the PI controller to ensure optimum drive performance.The direct generator simulates the propeller characteristic as the load of the propulsion motor,so,the research on the observer and the controller can be carried out in the digital signal process(DSP).The design is helpful to the research and the application in the vessel electric propulsion motor control rules,and it is also significance for the electric propulsion system to actualize numeral control,and it is usefule for the propulsion control system.
