OPTIMAL PLACEMENT OF PZT ACTUATOR/SENSOR CONSIDERING STICK EFFECT AND MEASURING NOISE

The goal of this study is to present a methodology for obtaining optimal placement of PZT actuator/sensor considering stick effect and measuring noise in active vibration control of a flexible structure.Firstly,the candidate positions are supposed to be finite,and Karlman separate principle is used to obtain the actuator location.Based on the actuator location,the sensor location is found.This methodology does not need to find the optimal placement at the same time.The procedure is greatly simplified,it reduces the optimal numerical computations and gives the optimal placement result when there exists measuring noise.Numerical example of a flexible beam is presented to show that the methodology is efficient and fast,and an uncollated placement result is given,it is different from the common result and the sensor position changes more.
