Toward an isotropic representation of 3D triangulated surface object

We propose in this work, an isotropic representation of 3D mesh object. It is represented by a pseudo 3D digital parameterization of its outer surface. It is obtained through an estimation of both principle curvatures in every vertex of an initial mesh and by defining two networks of orthogonal curves that are invariably linked to the exterior profile of the object. A quantification of discrete graphs of both curves can lead to the extraction of an isotropic cloud of points corresponding to intersections of the lines of maximum and minimum iso curvatures.
