Impact of probe ring location on test area performance in 3D MIMO OTA setup

This paper presents a novel concept which is called probe ring location and investigates the impact of probe ring location on the test area performance in 3D MIMO OTA setup. Under different test area size and different channel model, the impact of probe ring location on the test area performance has been discussed. Under different test area size, the test area performance is different. But different channel model have similar impact on test area performance. And with the growth of sphere's radius and probe ring angular, the correlation error doesn't have a linear change but goes up and down. Finally we can concluded that when the target channel model is determined, for a fixed test area size, we could find a group of radius of sphere and probe ring angular to achieve the best teat area performance.
