Analysis and study of wave condition in large port area

In this paper,taking a large port project as an example,the condition of waves from open sea to the port area was studied by wave physical model,and the wind-generated wave in port area was analyzed by numerical model.Combined the results of both methods according to the relevant method,the results show that the researches on wave conditions in the large port and the effect of wind wave are necessary in port design,because the design wave and mooring conditions of the wharfs in port can be effected.Meanwhile,the secondary wave should also be considered in the analysis of wave conditions due to the overtopping wave in port area.
