STRUCTURAL AND RESIDUAL STRESS ANALYSIS BY X-RAY DIFFRACTION ON POLYMERIC MATERIALS AND COMPOSITES

An overview of the state of the art will be given. The tested, with crystalline powder filled amorphous and semiccystalline, also fiber reinforced polymeric materials are listed. Hints to the measurement technique, especially the X-ray analysis, will be mentioned. Examples of residual stresses in injection molded plates of the said polymers are discussed.
