Simulation and Design of Charge and Discharge Detection Circuit for Lead-acid Battery

The detection of parameters is very important for energy control of lead-acid battery in stand-alone PV system.The peculiarity of the voltage and current detection circuit of lead-acid battery is introduced.The detection circuit is also designed under the state of charging (or discharging) in stand-alone PV system.The circuit is simulated based on the saber designer labs.This paper also introduces the principle of the detecting for the circuit and software flow chart based on ATmega8L microcomputer.With the simple circuit and high accuracy,the experiment proves that this device can meet the demand of engineering control,which can importantly provide the precise parameters for control strategy.
