Nonlinear Iterative Calculation Method of Load-Settlement Relationship of Super-Long Pile

Based on data of super-long pile experiment,the generalized hyperbolic function was proposed as load transfer model of pile-side to simulate the degradation of lateral friction,the hyperbolic load transfer model is used for the pile end to simulate the nonlinear deformation properties of soil,and Rusch model of concrete is introduced for studying the elastic-plastic characteristic of pile shaft under heavy load.The analytical theory of load transfer of superlong piles in layered ground was established,which can be used not only to calculate the settlement and bearing capacity of super-long piles in layer ground,but also to analyze the load transfer regularityof super-long piles in layered ground.The derived load-settlement curve is closely agreed with testing results so that it can be used for determining the bearing capacity of super-long pile.Comparison of calculated results and measured data shows that the proposed method is theoretically reliable,simple in application and useful in practice.
