Using FAQ as a Case Base for Intelligent Tutoring

This paper presents an Intelligent Tutoring System that was designed and integrated to a web-based distance learning environment. In this system, the Frequently Asked Questions is the knowledge base of a Case-Based Reasoning module that is used to retrieve situations similar to the ones currently presented by the student, i.e., to search for answers to the students' queries.
