Monitoring System of the Wireless Model Car's Motion State

The tracing and intelligence model car is extensively studied in the robot field. This paper focuses on the model car used in the Freescale Cup national smart model car competition. A wireless data transmission system is designed, which is composed of a wireless data transmission chip and MCU, with the wireless transmission chip nRF24L01 as the core component, with Freescale's 16-bit microcontroller- PC9S12XS128 for the data transmission, and with NetUSB-24L01 as the wireless module to receive data and send the data to the host computer through the USB interface. The data acquisition program is written in VC++ and the data is analyzed and optimized to obtain the related parameters and the motion trajectory of the model car, through which to control its speed and improve the stability. This system is simple in its structure, high in reliability and transmission rate, small in volume, and low in cost and power consumption. With the wireless transmission system, the smart model car's running time is reduced by 11% in the self-made track.
