Theoretical Modal Analysis of a Circular Plate with a Solid Shaft and a Solid Cylinder.

This paper describes the theoretical modal analysis of a thick circular plate with a solid shaft and a solid cylina’er. For the modal analysis the circular plate with a solid sohft and a solid cylinder is divided into’ three pieces: a cicular plate with a solid shaft and two cylinders, namely the left cylinder and the right cylinder. Using the solutions of jkrural tibmtion of the circular plate with a solid shaft and those of the two cylinders with given boundary conditions, the natural modes of vibration of the circular plate with a solid shaft and a solid cylinder are solved. The cahxdated natural fkquencies and mode shapes coincide with those obtained by the eqetimental and FEM modal analysis.
