The Europe Bridge in Portugal: concept and structural design

Abstract The Europe Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 186 m. A 3D stay cable arrangement is adopted to suspend a composite 3D truss in the deck erected using a precasted segmental scheme. The concept and structural design are described.
