FATTY ACID ANALYSIS OF TWO EXPERIMENTAL TRANSMISSIBLE GLIAL TUMORS BY GAS-LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY.

Summary The fatty acid analyses of two experimentally transmissible ependymomas (Perese and SK) were determined and compared. These patterns were similar to each other. Furthermore, the location of the tumor, subcutaneous or intracerebral, did not appear to change the fatty acid distribution. Each major lipid of the tumor, moreover, had a characteristic fatty acid pattern. The triglycerides were the major lipids in the tumor.
