Abstract Developing a new drug is not only an extensive but also an expensive task for the scientist. It involves a broad sphere of biological science like biochemistry, cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, pharmacology followed by bioinformatics. It is very important in a drug development process, that the result of in-silico and computational work should be properly validated through various in-vitro/in-vivo experiments. In this chapter, we will discuss the methods which are very useful for the assessment of a new drug against Plasmodium parasite.
