Contribution to the matrix converter overmodulation strategies based on the virtual dc-link concept

The presented paper deals with modulation strategy of the matrix converter. Attention is paid to the indirect space vector modulation (ISVM) that is based on the virtual dc link concept. The 3D space for selection of the modulation index is being often overlooked. In this article it is discussed in detail.
