Scalable optical packet switch for multiple data-rate packets using RF tone based in-band labeling

We propose a novel labeling technique for an optical packet switch based on in-band RF tones. We demonstrate error-free operation for 160 Gb/s RZ-OOK packets and 40 Gb/s NRZ/RZ-OOK packets using this new labeling technique.
