The Problem of Anterior Branch Obturator Neurectomy to the Hip Adduction Contracture in Cerebral Palsy

Adductor longus myotomy and anterior branch obturator neurectomy are commonly carried out to the hip adduction deformity in cerebral palsy, but there often appeared hip internal rotation gait, or a board-based gait if combined with hamstrings lengthening in our cases. Therefore we concluded that anterior branch obturator neurectomy should never be done.
