Surrounding Rock System Control Technology of Fully-Mechanized Coal Face Passing the Main Roadway and Goof in a Very Short Distance

In order to prevent the roadway from being damaged in a large area by overhead mining so as to realize safe mining in the case of passing over the main roadway in very short distance(only 0.4 to 9 m)and passing the goof,we analyzed the characteristics of surrounding rock abutment pressure distribution and proposed that 1) different strengthening designs for passing old roadways should be made according to different loading stages,2) water injection parameters should be determined for injecting water into coal seams to prevent pressure bump from taking place,and 3)electromagnetic emission should be used to monitor the area with a pressure bump risk so as to take necessary countermeasures.The practice shows that using the new technique has achieved the expected effect.
