A SET OF MATLAB ROUTINES FOR CONTROL SYSTEM ANALYSIS AND DESIGN

A collection of Matlab routines for control system analysis and design is described. The routines provide a coherent set of tools that implements the basic operations of control theory, e.g. frequency response analysis, root locus and pole-zero plots, pole placement and LQ(G) design, approximation and design in the frequency domain. They extend and improve the functionality of the Control System Toolbox in Matlab considerably. An important consideration in the implementation has been ease of use, and the routines have been used, with success, in both teaching and research.
