For the requirement of large number of information needs to be transmitted and the restriction of power consumption in the data processing in multimedia wireless sensor networks.One of broadband data transmit technologies—multi-band orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(MB-OFDM) modulation technology is used.OFDM modulation can realize the high speed,accuracy,and real time processing for the large number of multimedia information.OFDM modulation performances is analyzed,and its peak-to-average power ratio(PAPR) is also investigated.Phase identification coding sequence method is proposed to improve the PAPR performance of OFDM modulation.Simulation shows that the new method can increase the reliability of transmission in multimedia sensor networks,save the frequency resource,and it also can diminish the system power consumption.
