Design of high power RF coaxial vacuum window

Since most of the high power RF components are not commercially available and also the design of high power RF components is quite different than the low power RF components, here we present the design aspects of high power coaxial window in which one side is connected to pressurized coaxial transmission line and another side is connected to a vacuum port of the tokamak. The vacuum window is designed for 200 kW RF power and is expected to work in the frequency range of 20-40 MHz The simulation is done with HFSS software and the results show that the material with lower dielectric constant and less thickness gives better performance.
