Performance Analysis of Claw-pole Alternator in Terms of Single-layer and Double-layer Winding

Single-layer winding and double-layer winding have an obvious influence on the performance of the alternator.Research of the single-layer and double-layer winding is of great importance for improving efficiency of the claw-pole alternator.The different models of claw-pole alternator were modeled using the Ansoft software.On this basis,the performance parameters of the alternator in terms of the single-layer winding and double-layer winding using magnetic equivalent circuit method were obtained.The harmonic components of the induced electromotive force were analyzed.The presented results can provide the basis and reference for the optimal design of the claw-pole generator.
