Coded cooperation for OFDM systems

We consider the analysis and design of cooperative convolutions codes for single antenna OFDM systems. We derive the Chernoff bound on the pairwise error probability (PEP) for the block fading OFDM system and study the achievable diversity gains for various inter-user channel qualities. We provide simulation results for different cooperation scenarios and observe significant gains over conventional non-cooperative OFDM systems.
