An improved auxiliary resonant commutated pole inverter using assistant power source

An improved auxiliary resonant commutated pole inverter using assistant power source is proposed. The new topology uses an assistant power source eliminating the difficulty in controlling the inductor initial current of the ARCP circuit. The simulation and experimental result confirm the conclusion.
