Comparison of the effect of different types of aging on partial discharge inception voltage in aerospace power connectors

The aim of this study was to compare the effect of different types of thermal and electrical aging on aerospace power connectors. The impact of each aging method was quantified by measuring the partial discharge inception voltage of power connectors under DC voltage with a pressure range corresponding to the aeronautical environment (P= [103 Pa − 105 Pa]).
