A Novel Roundness Error Measurement Method

A new method for measuring roundness of round workpiece is proposed in the paper,which is based on the principle of right angle laser probe to get inscribed triangle of the workpiece.As a result,the size change in radium for round workpiece can be determined precisely.The measuring system structure and working principle are discussed in detail,and the main factors which affect the measuring precision are also analyzed.
