A Heterogeneous Network Access Selection Algorithm Based on Improved CRITIC

In order to improve the quality of network selection in heterogeneous networks, a heterogeneous network selection algorithm based on the objective and subjective synthetic weights is proposed. For different service types, AHP is used to calculate the subjective weights. According to the real-time attribute parameters of networks, the improved CRITIC is used to calculate the objective weights. Finally, the TOPSIS is applied to select optimal access network. The simulation results show that the algorithm proposed in this paper can find the optimal network based on user subjective preferences and network performance. In addition, it can reduce the handoff times while satisfy the QoS requirement.
